- Introductory Information
- Clermont County Public Library is a ten branch system located 20 miles east of Cincinnati. All the branches are open 9 to 9 Monday through Thursday and 9 to 5:30 Friday and Saturday. The system offers a wide range of materials and services and access to internet and availability to materials through MORE and ILL. Circulation in 2007 was more than 1.5 million items.
- Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, supervision and operation of service unit. Promotes achievement of system's long-range plan objectives. Coordinates programming activities of agency.
- Qualifications
- College degree and completion of an M.L.S. from an A.L.A. accredited program. Knowledge of the basic elements of library administration and the ability to apply such knowledge to work performed. Minimum of two to three years of increasingly responsible experience in a public library at a professional level. Strong public relations skills preferred.
