Our eBook collection is growing thanks to over 25,000 titles that are always available 24/7 with your Clermont County Public Library card and Freading. That’s right - no waiting lists, no overdue fees! Check out titles for 2 weeks with an additional 2 week renewal period if needed using your Freading tokens.
Tokens
At the beginning of each week, you are given 4 tokens, which can be used to download Freading eBooks. Each eBook costs 1, 2, or 4 tokens depending on the release date of the title.
- Four tokens – titles less than 6 months old
- Two tokens – titles 7 months to 2 years old
- One token – titles older than 2 years
Unused tokens roll over to the next week, but all tokens reset to 4 again every four weeks.
Supported Devices & Software
Read titles on your computer or take the book with you on a compatible eReader, smartphone or tablet.
Freading eBooks can be transferred to eReaders such as the Nook, Kobo, and Sony Reader using Adobe Digital Editions. Titles can be downloaded to most Android tablets and phones with the Freading app. A Freading app is also available for downloading titles to iPads, iPhones and the Kindle Fire.

Checkouts
Titles can be borrowed for 14 days at which point they can be renewed for another 2 week lending period, if needed. Renewals for the newest titles (less than 6 months old) cost 1 token, but older titles renew for no additional tokens.
