Encyclopedia of American History Digital Collection: The Lexis-Nexis Serial Set digital collection spanning the years 1789 to 1969 is available by remote access to all State Library of Ohio card holders. If you do not have a State Library of Ohio card, there is an online patron registration form here.

Explore Ohio: The largest source of everything Ohio! Find Ohio-focused websites by category or by county.

GreenFILE: A bibliographic database of information about environmental concerns. GreenFILE indexes scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports. This resource offers a unique perspective on the positive and negative ways humans affect the environment. Drawing on the connection between the environment and disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology, GreenFILE serves as an informative resource for anyone concerned about the issues facing our planet. The database contains nearly 300,000 records, full text for selected titles and searchable cited references for more than 200 titles as well.

Centuries of Citizenship: From the National Constitution Center, a Constitutional timeline highlighting some of the key dates and events of constitutional history.

Clermont County Board of Elections: Provides information about candidates, election regulations, polling locations and issues as well as election results. Includes links to the league of women voters and to kids vote.

e-Government and Web Directory: an indispensable guidebook for anyone who is looking for official U.S. government resources on the Web. The U.S. government’s information online is massive and can be difficult to locate. Thus you need the e-Government and Web Directory to navigate the maze of data and locate the materials you seek.

Federal Reserve: Explains what it is and how it works.

Ohio County Profiles: Information about specific county – click on ‘county trends’ and enter county name in search box. Industrial, demographic and geographic profiles.

United State Postal Service

U.S. Census Bureau – American Fact Finder: Provides access to tables, tools and allows user to create data tables of comparative information for various years, localities, populations. Includes survey data for larger metropolitan areas as recently as 2007.

United States Government Manual: Provides comprehensive information on the agencies of the legislative, judicial, and executive branches.

9/11 Commission Records: From the National Archives, information about the findings of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, an independent, bipartisan commission created by Congress.
