Naming and Renaming Libraries
The following procedures will apply:
The branch name and signs will show in priority order: Clermont County Public Library followed by Actual name.
- Example:
- Doris Wood Batavia Branch
- Colonel John Voll Goshen Branch
Before any consideration will be given to a name change, there must be broad-based community support.
The Board of Trustees may accept or reject any petition for renaming a library branch after consideration of all the facts.
Any financial burden resulting from a name change will be paid by those who petition for the change.
