Unattended Children Policy

The Clermont County Public Library does not accept responsibility for the health, safety, or welfare of any child left unattended at the Library. At all times, while using the Library with a parent or legal guardian, children must remain under the care, custody, and control of their parent(s) or legal guardian.

Clermont County Public Library may contact Children’s Services or local law enforcement agencies in the event that an unattended minor child is perceived to be endangering themselves, or others, or is presenting any problems to the staff or to other Library customers.
