Clermont County Public Library Board of Trustees announced changes in the leadership of the Library, naming Leslie Massey as its Director.

Nancy Ehas has been appointed interim Coordinator of Information Services, a role that is not expected to change. Massey noted, "Nancy's skill and experience in library services is irreplaceable and her unique perspective on this library system is invaluable. I think she'll do an excellent job in this position."

Since April 2000, the directorship duties have been shared by Ehas and Massey. The concept of a co-directorship was unique and, for a time, met the needs of the library.

However, as with all organizations, situations need to be reevaluated. Over the past several months, the Co-Directors and Trustees have discussed and scrutinized the current structure. The result was to return to a single director.

It is the Board's belief that this realignment builds on the skills and talents of the former Co-Directors and will better meet the current needs of the community and the library staff.
