4000 Years of Women in Science and Mathematics
Lists over 125 women from our scientific and technical past -inventors, scholars, writers, mathematicians, and astronomers who lived and worked prior to the twentieth century.

Minerva Center - Women in Military History
The MINERVA Center is a non-profit educational and research corporation for the study of women in war and the military. The Pentagon Library identifies MINERVA publications as the major source for research on matters relating to these issues.

National Museum of Women in the Arts
Exhibits, preserves, acquires, and researches art by women artists of all periods and nationalities and educates the public of their accomplishments. The site contains extensive descriptions and photos of the collection and some links to related sites.

National Women's Hall of Fame
Created in 1969 by a group in Seneca Falls (1st Women's Rights Convention) who believed that the contribution of American women deserved a permanent home in their village where it all began. Note the exhibits, artifacts, research library and office.

National Women's History Project
The originating organization for Women's History Month provides updates about events, conferences, publications, films, and other resources related to U.S. women's history. Rich links list.

Ohio Women's Hall of Fame
Established in 1978 by the Women's Division of the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services to create recognition of the many contributions Ohio women have made to their state and nation. Site contains bios of 1999 and 1998 inductees.

Susan B. Anthony House
Home of the legendary American civil rights leader during the most politically active period of her life, and the site of her famous arrest for voting in 1872. Includes a biography and links to sites devoted to suffrage history.

Women Come to the Front
Library of Congress online exhibit of the role of women journalists, photographers, & broadcasters during World War II. Examines jobs opened for women as men left to fight, specific contributions, & permanent changes in women's employment after the war.

Women Veterans
