Create a Little Reader
Summer Reading 2009
Ages 0 - 2
It's never too early to prepare children for success as readers. Children who are read to have a larger vocabulary, better language skills, and a greater interest in books. Those are fantastic reasons for reading to your child. Let us add some fun, creativity, and prizes!
Stop into a branch to register or print a game board (pdf) at home and bring it to a branch when you're ready to collect your first prize on or after June 6th.
Use our booklists to get started creating your little reader or stop into a branch and check out one of our literacy kits. Use our activity sheet(pdf) to get creative with your little reader.
