For nearly 50 years Clermont County Public Library has offered an exciting Summer Reading Program to help children and teenagers keep their minds sharp even after the final bell of the school year.
Our 2013 Summer Reading Program is offered exclusively online for ages 0-18. The program runs June 8 - July 20. During the contest period, participants have the chance to win prizes for completing and logging their reading and reading-related activities.
Simply follow the links to register online. Select the program that fits your age group. Then keep your user name and password handy to log back in throughout the summer to keep track of your activities. The program will tell you when it's time to visit your branch to collect your prize. Good luck!
Our 2013 Summer Reading Program themes center around exploring. We offer four age groups. Participants are prompted to select a program/age group when they register online.
- Grow a Little Reader - Ages 0-4
- Dig into Reading - Ages 5-8
- Dig into Reading - Ages 9-11
- Beneath the Surface - Ages 11-18
For more information about the program, or for help participating, contact your local branch.
Participants in our Grow a Little Reader program (ages 0-4) and the Dig into Reading programs (5-8 & 9-11) earn a prize for every six activities completed, up to three prizes. Every activity completed after that enters the reader in a drawing for a grand prize.
Participants in our Beneath the Surface program (ages 11-18) earn a chance to win one of 10 iPod Touch prizes for completing activities. Grand prizes this year include a Kindle Fire for ages 5-8 & 9-11 and a travel art easel for ages 0-4.
