June is Audio Book Month and what better time than the start of the summer travel season to find the perfect audio? There are titles to suit your every mood.

If you want to experience some New York, high society, menopausal humor ( yes, humor may actually be found  in menopause) try any of Nora Ephron’s musings such as I Feel Bad about my Neck.  Another pithy female commentator is Lisa Scottoline with such works as Why My Third Husband Will Be a Dog  and My Nest Isn’t Empty, It Just Has More Closet Space.

I am currently listening to Tina Fey’s Bossypants  and it is exactly what you would expect from the former head writer of Saturday Night Live and the current producer of 30 Rock.  If you are a Fey fan, this is laugh out loud funny in parts. Needless to say, these are adult-themed audios and not recommended for sharing with the impressionable minds of your little ones.
