Prompts for the week of March 8th, 2012

Prompt
This week let’s continue working on writing dialogue. One of the primary aims of a good writer is to make the dialogue realistic. It should be an accurate portrayal of how people talk. Dialogue should be easy to read and flow like a genuine conversation. If it is clunky or hard to read without stumbling, then it needs work.
Dialogue helps you to define your character. This week create a dialogue, using two or more persons, that show emotions such as:
Happiness
Anger
Sadness
Remember that you are defining each character engaged in the dialogue.

Five words

Create a short story using these five words:
Concept, bureau, prevail, root beer, rooster
HAVE FUN!
