Been to a Good Storytime Lately?

You and your child will enjoy stories, games, rhymes, Fingerplays, songs and a craft. Why should you come to storytime you ask? “Research has shown that library storytimes can make a difference! Public libraries do have an important role to play in helping parents prepare their children be ready to learn when they enter school.” (Judy Maclean, 2008)

The Clermont County Public Library offers drop in preschool storytimes to children age’s birth to six years old. Yes, I said drop in! No need to register just show up with your child and be ready to have a fun time. There will be stories, of course, and so much more. Our storytimes incorporate the six pre literacy skills while we have fun, reading, writing, singing, playing and talking. There might even be a little dancing!
