Snowflakes in Photographs (ebook).   For nearly 50 years, American photographer W. A. Bentley photographed thousands of snowflakes in his Vermont workshop. His painstakingly mounted images were remarkable revelations of nature’s diversity, with no two snowflakes exactly alike, but all based on a common hexagon.
