Doctor Who?

who If you’re like me sometimes it takes awhile for popular trends to surface on your radar. You may have heard talk about an awesome show called Doctor Who.

Doctor Who? What kind of name is that?

It is a great name. The best name.

Doctor Who has been around in England for a while, but it is finally crossing the big pond to America. The result is something like the Beatles phenomenon. Okay, so maybe not that big, but it is big. Huge. And you should definitely watch it. If you’ve seen it then you know what I’m talking about.

Like that one episode where you find out someone is really related to someone else.

Or that one with the moon landing.

Or that time someone got stuck in an alien hotel with your deepest fears inside the rooms.

Or those creepy statue things that you have to look at.

The mix of sci-fi, adventure, and humor is purely addictive and before you know it you are going to want a bow tie and a fez of your own. If you’re new to Doctor Who I’d suggest starting with the fifth series where The Doctor is played by Matt Smith. After you burn through the fifth, sixth and now seventh series (Because you will, in a matter of days. If you don’t you’re a Dalek.) then you can re-visit some of the past Doctors including David Tennet and Christopher Eccleston. Enjoy and may you never again have to ask, Doctor Who?

I will have to add that to my list of shows to watch. Right now I’m hooked on The Walking Dead.

No! You can’t skip to Matt! Even though he’s witty and brilliant if you skip him you miss the all time greatest doctor…David Tennant! I suggest instead starting at Christopher Eccleston (2005 reboot) because he is a great doctor though under appreciated.
Trust me I would know all this stuff. I’ve seen all of new who and now watching some classics. :)
