DIY Leather Bracelet

DIY Leather Bracelet

Looking for a fun and easy craft? Try this simple leather bracelet!

Simply Knot an Average Leather Bracelet Instructions

Tools:

Flat Nose Jewelry Pliers

Sharp Scissors to cut cord

Materials:

Round Leather Cord, any thickness (I used 1.5 mm)

2 Fold Over Cord Ends

2 Jump Rings

Lobster Claw Clasp

The first task is to collect your materials and decide what color cord you want to use. Next cut two strands of leather cord. Each strand should be able to wrap around your wrist ¾ of the way when it is folded in half. Now that you have your materials, fold one of the strands in half, holding this in your hand so that it makes a loop. Fold the second cord in half and hold it so that it also makes a loop.

Put the loop in your left hand through the loop in your right hand.

Next, pull the ends of the cord in your right hand up and over the left-hand loop.

Pull the knot tight. Afterward, drape your almost complete bracelet around your wrist to measure it for a comfortable fit. Trim the cords as needed.

Now you are ready to place the ends of your cords into a fold-over cord end. Fold one side of the cord end down onto the leather cord using your flat nose pliers.

Repeat for the other side. Finally, add your jump rings and a lobster claw clasp to finish.

Congratulations, you’re officially a Maker! Show off your bracelet with the tag #clermontmaker on Facebook and Twitter!
