Local historian Gary Knepp will discuss President Lincoln and Slavery at 6:30 p.m., Monday, February 24 at the Batavia Branch Library. He’ll cover President Lincoln’s viewpoint and decisions on slavery during his presidency, and how he led the country during the Civil War. Sign up online. Mr. Knepp is an attorney in Clermont County, Ohio, and an adjunct professor of American history and political science at the University of Cincinnati’s Clermont College.
