The Clermont County Public Library is accepting new and homemade mittens, hats and scarves to benefit adults and children in need. Donations will be distributed in time for the holiday season.

Drop off your donations at any Clermont County Public Library branch between Oct. 1 and Nov. 16.

According to the Clermont County General Health District, almost 8 percent of families in the county are living below the poverty level.
