Professional background/work experience:

Mary Jo Waite earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from Eastern Kentucky University.

She served as Media Specialist and Librarian at the CNE Middle School from 1974-2004. Mary Jo has resided in the Village of Batavia since 1977.

Why did you volunteer to join the Library's Board?

My background as a public school librarian has shown me the importance, value, and necessity of library services.  I am a patron of the Clermont County Public Library and want to see it continue providing library services for all county residents.

I accepted the appointment to the Library Board to provide representation from the smaller communities of the county.
