Library Cards

The Library will be closed Thursday, November 27, in observance of Thanksgiving Day.

The Library will be OPEN Friday, November 28, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Enjoy full access to all physical and digital materials with your Clermont County Public Library card. This card is free and available to anyone who lives in Ohio. If you live outside of Ohio, you can have a CCPL card by paying an annual fee.

The Library also offers the Educator Card for teachers who work in Clermont County. The card is designed to help teachers enrich their students’ education by providing access to the Library’s collection of physical and digital materials.

The standard library card provides access to all materials, physical and online, for users of all ages. Guests 18 or older can fill out the form linked below to receive a card via email.  Guests under 18 years of age need to visit a library branch to sign up for a card with a parent or guardian.  For more information, see our Library Card and Borrowing Guidelines.

Educator Card

The Educator Card is for educators who work in Clermont County. The card is designed to help you enrich your students’ education by providing access to the Library’s vast collection of physical and digital materials.

 

The Library is proud to offer the Educator Card that can be used to:

  • Check out up to 200 books for 21 days

  • Check out holiday books for 21 days

  • Check out up to 25 DVDs for seven days

  • Access our digital collections

  • Auto Renew applies. Our system will automatically renew your items up to five times as long as no holds have been placed on them by other patrons.

Also, when life happens, we understand.

  • Five lost items will be forgiven per year

  • A three-week grace period will be offered after the due date

As your partner in education, we believe the benefits of this card will enhance the educational experience of your students and support your curriculum needs with access to hundreds of thousands of materials.

Fill out and bring the application into your local branch library to get your Educator Card. Please bring proof of employment.

3 For Me Card

The 3 For Me library card allows preschool children, elementary, middle, and high school students, and homeschooled children access to many library materials, both print and digital.

 

No fines will be charged if items are a bit late being returned. Students may check out up to three items.

 This graph includes the materials available to be checked out using the 3 For Me library card.

The Youth 3 For Me card is for ages 0-11 and the teen 3 For Me card is for ages 12-17.

When the student returns one of the items borrowed, they can borrow another one. The card also grants access to our Digital Resources and databases, and our Digital Collection of downloadable and streaming items.

Students attending school will receive their cards from their homeroom teachers. Students learning at home are asked to pick up their cards at their local branch.
