Library Card Application
Ohio residents can obtain a free Clermont County Public Library card by filling out this form online. Or by visiting one of the 10 branch locations with a government-issued photo ID and proof of current address (postmarked letter or bill, Voter Registration Card, current utility bill, lease agreement, checkbook). Cards are issued immediately and provide access to over 420,000 physical items, 440,000 digital items, including ebooks, audiobooks, and movies, and 50+ databases, including ABCmouse and LinkedIn Learning. Cardholders may also borrow items from other Ohio libraries through the SearchOhio service. Non-Ohio residents can purchase annual cards for $75.
To apply online, you must be 18 or older. Minors are welcome to apply at one of our locations with a parent/guardian.
After applying online, you’ll receive email confirmation and card status information.
If you’re an out-of-state resident and would like to receive a Clermont County Public Library card, please contact notices@clermontlibrary.org to make arrangements to pay the $75 fee.
If you currently have a CCPL card but have a question about your account, use the Library Card Assistance Form.
