Unattended Children Policy

The Clermont County Public Library does not accept responsibility for the health, safety, or welfare of any minor child left unattended on Library premises. At all times, while using the Library with a parent or legal guardian, minor children must remain under the care, custody, and control of their parent or legal guardian.

The Clermont County Public Library may contact Children’s Protective Services or local law enforcement agencies in the event an unattended minor child is perceived to be endangering themselves, or others, or is presenting any problems to the staff or to other Library guests.
