October is coming, and you know what that means – pumpkins, costumes, candy, and... reading? That's right! We're thrilled to announce our annual Hallow-Read Challenge, and trust us, this is one challenge that's more treat than trick.

Whether you're a voracious bookworm or someone who's been meaning to pick up that novel gathering dust on your nightstand, this challenge is perfect for you. We've designed it to welcome readers of all ages, from little goblins just learning their ABCs to seasoned readers who can devour a mystery faster than you can say "boo!"

Ready to join our challenge?

1. Sign up now: Don't wait until the witching hour! Join the challenge and start logging your reading minutes beginning October 1. The earlier you start, the more time you'll have to reach that magical 300-minute goal.

2. Pick up your Boook Bag: Between October 1 and 31, visit your local branch to claim your free Boook Bag. But hurry – these spooky-good bags are available only while supplies last.

3. Read, read, read: This is where the real magic happens! Between October 1 and 31, aim to read for at least 300 minutes. That breaks down to less than 10 minutes a day – easier than carving a pumpkin! Whether you prefer spine-tingling horror, cozy mysteries, fantastical adventures, or heartwarming romance, every page counts toward your goal.

4. Log your minutes: Don't let your hard work vanish into thin air! Make sure you've logged all your reading minutes by October 31 using the Beanstack website or app. Think of it as your reading diary – track your progress and watch those minutes add up like treats in a Halloween bag. If you need help navigating the platform, our friendly branch staff are always ready to lend a helping hand (no scary claws involved, we promise!).

Remember, in the world of books, every reader wins. Happy reading, and may your October be filled with more thrills from your favorite pages than from any haunted house!
