The holidays are about more than twinkling lights and hot cocoa—they're about coming together to lift our community. This year, Clermont County Public Library is partnering with United Way for our Holiday Giving Program, and we're asking for your help to make a difference in the lives of local students.

School Supplies = Success Stories

From November 12 through December 17, we're collecting brand-new school supplies for United Way's Backpacks for Success program. These aren't just pencils and notebooks—they're tools to unlock potential, build confidence, and remove barriers to learning for students right here in Clermont County.

Imagine a child walking into class with a fresh backpack filled with everything they need to succeed. That confidence boost? That's the power of community generosity in action.

How You Can Donate to the Holiday Giving Program

Drop off your donations at any of our ten library branches during the collection period, during regular library hours. It's that easy! Here's what we need:

The Essentials:

  • Backpacks (because every student deserves a fresh start)

  • Pocket folders

  • Flat boxes of facial tissues

  • 24 packs of crayons

  • 12 packs of sticky notes

Packs of:

  • Notebook paper

  • Highlighters

  • Index cards

  • Washable markers

  • Dry-erase markers

  • Pens

  • Pre-sharpened #2 pencils

Every item on this list matters. Whether you bring one pack of pencils or an entire backpack stuffed with supplies, your contribution will impact a student's ability to learn, grow, and thrive.

Why This Matters

By participating in our Holiday Giving Program, you're ensuring that financial constraints don't stand between a child and their education. You're saying, "I believe in you. You matter. Your education matters."

Ready to Give?

Visit any Clermont County Public Library branch between November 12 and December 17 with your donations. Our friendly staff will collect your contributions and ensure they reach students who need them most.

This holiday season, let's fill backpacks and fuel futures. Together, we can make sure students in Clermont County have the tools they need to turn their potential into achievement.
