Strategic Plan

Informed by the 2025 community survey and rooted in our core values, the Library’s Strategic Plan will focus on increasing awareness so that all residents can fully understand and benefit from our services, collections, and programs.

 

This plan draws on community input and staff insight to reinforce the Library’s role as an essential and vibrant public resource that responds to the evolving needs of Clermont County residents.

Strategy Based on Values

Accessibility

Meeting the needs and interests of our guests by providing access to the Library, its services, resources, and programs.

Goal

Increase awareness for community members to easily discover and access Library resources and services.

Strategies

  2. Create an outreach and awareness campaign.

  3. Highlight free access points.

  4. Tailor service promotion to each guest’s interests and needs.

Learning

Supporting our guests by delivering services, resources, and programs that encourage education, literacy, and lifelong learning.

Goal

Position the Library as a trusted partner and hub for learning at every stage of life.

  1. Expand Library2Go outreach and pop-up learning opportunities.

  2. Engage the community through special learning initiatives.

  3. Empower staff as learning ambassadors.

  4. Measure and celebrate program quality.

Transparency

Building trust through ethical practices, open communication, and accountable stewardship of resources.

Strengthen community trust through proactive communication, transparent decision-making, and responsible stewardship.

Make every guest feel they are a valued part of the Library community.
