Celebrate with the Clermont County Public Library as we welcome the season with holiday events at our 10 branches. Reminisce about local holiday traditions, enjoy a magic show with local favorite Jason Jacobs, enjoy a dulcimer performance, visit with mini Highland cows or a mini therapy horse, and more!

Cincinnati's Winter Holiday Traditions

Monday, December 1, 2 PM, Batavia Branch


If you enjoy reminiscing about the holidays, join us as we celebrate the many joyful times and faces of the winter holiday season. You can’t see the holiday spirit, but it’s there in the many traditions of Cincinnati during this festive season.

Holiday Open House

Tuesday, December 2, 5:30 PM, Owensville Branch


Unleash your holiday creativity at this festive event by handcrafting two holiday ornaments--a miniature wreath and an acrylic-marbled ornament. Spread seasonal cheer by writing a letter to soldiers. Enjoy a gingerbread-house making kit as a take-home treat.

Join us for an evening of holiday fun featuring a magic show from Jason Jacob, crafting a holiday ornament, trivia, a scavenger hunt, and refreshments.

Visit the Library during the Williamsburg Christmas Walk and enjoy a captivating performance by magician Jason Jacobs and his bunny. Get in the holiday spirit with crafts, refreshments, and a scavenger hunt, or warm up and enjoy our playroom.

Holiday Hoedown

Saturday, December 6, 1 PM, Bethel Branch


Come for a rootin'-tootin' good time and celebrate the holidays cowboy style! Guests can create holiday crafts and play games inspired by the Old West, while enjoying a sweet treat. Visit from 3:00 - 4:00 to meet and pet a miniature therapy horse! For ages 6 to 11.

Saturday, December 6, 10 AM, New Richmond Branch


Join us for holiday fun and carols at our annual Holiday Open House! Decorate an ornament, sing Christmas carols, decorate a cookie treat, and enjoy it all with some Hot Chocolate! Mrs. Claus will join us for stories, too!

Happy Holidays! Join us during our holiday open house for crafts, games, and snacks for the whole family!
