Clermont County Public Library (CCPL) debuts an updated website, making it easier than ever to search, browse, and connect with the resources and services that matter most to you.


The update also includes improvements to the catalog, making it easier to search and allowing personalizations.


Whether you're looking for your next great read, registering for a library event, or managing your account, our new site helps you get there faster.


Clean, uncluttered, and easy to read—our new look reflects the welcoming and forward-thinking spirit of Clermont County Public Library.

What's New

We’ve streamlined the search and navigation by reorganizing and simplifying the site.  Find books, resources, events, and services with fewer clicks.

Looking for books or other items in our collection? Click or tap Discover to see a full listing including:

  • How to get a library card

  • By Audience:

    • Early Learners

    • Youth

    • Teens

    • Adults

    • Seniors


Clicking or tapping on any of the audiences will give you book lists and other resources for that age group.


Also under the Discover tab are items related to the Library’s collection of books and other items. By clicking or tapping the link, you can explore.

Fresh Look for the Catalog

Along with the new website, our catalog is sporting a new look, along with better functionality too. Enjoy a more intuitive, personalized browsing experience as you explore CCPL’s collection of books, digital items, and more.


Personalize Your Experience

Now, when you log in to your library account, you can edit your profile. Click or tap the upper right corner on Log In/My Account.


Enter:

  • Your name

  • Library card number

  • Your PIN

Now, click your name in the upper right corner, you’ll see a snapshot of your account with:

  • Your current checkouts

  • Your current holds

  • Fines/Fees

  • Home Library

  • Expiration date of your library card


Click your name to go to your profile.


In the right corner, click Edit Profile.


Now you can choose:

  • A nickname

  • Update your email address

  • Add or change your phone number

  • Change your passcode/PIN

  • Choose your Home Library

  • Set your Preferred Pickup Location


After you’ve logged in and chosen your Home Library, items at that branch will be first in your catalog search results.  


After you’ve logged in and set your Preferred Pickup Location, it will be the default pickup location when you place holds.


You can also save your catalog searches, save specific authors and books, or create, save, and share lists of items from the catalog.


Discover New Things

Within the catalog are staff-created lists of new items in branches now or arriving soon. You can also explore librarian-curated lists on a variety of topics. Check back often as the lists are frequently changed and updated.
